Glitz means glitter or sparkle, while Glam stands for something fascinating. But as this year’s theme for the Grand Homecoming, the “Glitz and Glam” refers to someone who stands out, someone who shines, somebody who makes a difference, somebody who is an embodiment of the ‘Holy Cross’.

Equipped with the virtues and values they had imbibed from their alma mater – the Holy Cross of Davao College, this year’s Golden and Silver Jubilarians proudly come home with the glitters and the glamour of what they have become today after 50 and 25 years respectively.

This year’s homecoming, December 7, 2018 at the Davao Convention Center honors the High School Class of 1968 and the graduates of 1993 in a nostalgic evening of fun, entertainment, interaction, “going back” and “giving back”.

The celebration once again provides an avenue for creating and recreating memories and experiences, renewing and strengthening friendships developed during the good old days, building relationships, as well as expanding networks and linkages for their home – the Holy Cross, which recently turned 67 years old.

HCDC Alumni Association President Rey Castaneda enjoins his fellow alumni to take the annual homecomings not just a convergence, but as an opportunity to show gratitude to their alma mater, and a shout out to the world the real “glitz and glam” of what it is to be… “Holy Cross”.

Shine on, Holy Crossians!
