Chaplain and Campus Ministry Office

The Campus Ministry, together with the Religious Education Program under the leadership of the School Chaplain forms the hub of the Spiritual life of the HCDC community where students, teachers, administrators, non – teaching and academic non – teaching personnel work together to find God in oneself, in one another, in their relationship, work and study.

Mission
Working closely with all sector of the HCDC family, we strive to create a favorable environment for the dynamic integration of faith and life by efforts towards unity through the pastoral and spiritual services centered in the Eucharist.

Objectives:

• In order for the school to remain faithful to its mandate of integrating the evangelizing mission of the Catholic Church, the Campus Ministry  is committed to accomplish the following objectives:
  •   To promote a Christian atmosphere in the school campuses
  •   To create a favorable environment for the dynamic integration of faith through pastoral and spiritual services centered in     the Eucharist:
    •  Fiesta Mass
    • Holy hour every first Friday
    • Liturgy for advent, lent, and special feast
    • Prayer service for bereaved family
  •  To enhance a deepening of faith-life and formation of lay leaders
  •  To inculcate Christian values
  •  To encourage participation and involvement in the school community as well as in the parish
