The Bachelor of Science in Social Work Program is set to welcome back its graduates to its second home in an alumni homecoming event on March 23, 2019.

Plans and preparations for the event have started after the BSSW alumni had elected its new set of alumni officers. The last homecoming happened two years ago.

“We do not call it a reunion because it is more like a homecoming as we are bringing them back into the arms of their alma mater”, BSSW Program Head Cirila Lilibeth Panes said.

The BSSW regular homecoming is one way of promoting the program, establishing networks, expanding linkages, and contributing to the school’s community extension services.

The BSSW homecoming event could open up avenues of opportunities especially to those who are still seeking for jobs, and is a venue to accord recognition to those alumni who have exhibited commendable leadership in the practice of their profession.
