Overview
The Office of the Vice President for Operations (OVPO) leads the strategic planning and implementation of initiatives that ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of HCDC’s daily operations. It plays a vital role in advancing academic program development, promoting employee engagement, and fostering a supportive learning and working environment.
The OVPO oversees key institutional offices that contribute to campus-wide excellence: The Human Resources (HR) Office, Facility Management Office (FMO), Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Office, Safety and Pollution Control Office (SPCO), and the Institutional Quality Assurance Office (IQAO). It also manages essential services such as campus security, strategic data analytics, and personal data protection, all of which support HCDC’s commitment to quality, safety, and innovation.

The OVPO motto, ad Crucem (to the Cross), serves as a guiding principle for the OVPO. It reflects a deep commitment to Christ-centered service, reminding the HCDC community that all efforts in operational excellence, innovation, and support are ultimately directed toward the Cross—the symbol of faith, service, and mission. Ad Crucem inspires the OVPO Team to lead with purpose, integrity, and humility, ensuring that every decision and action contributes to the holistic formation of persons and the fulfillment of HCDC’s Catholic identity.

The OVPO logo, introduced in AY 2024–2025, reflects the identity and mission of the Office of the Vice President for Operations. Aligned with HCDC’s official colors—red, white, and blue, the logo features the Cross, symbolizing the triumph of the Resurrection and the heart of HCDC’s Catholic character. The five segments of the Cross represent the College’s ARISE Pillars: Administration, Research, Instruction, Spirituality, and Engagement. At its center is the OVPO motto, ad Crucem (to the Cross), which affirms the office’s commitment to service rooted In faith, excellence, and purpose.
