The Holy Cross of Davao College has furthered its internationalization and cultural exchange initiatives as it signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the University of Hawaii at Hilo (UHH).

This MOU is another milestone in HCDC’s pursuit of greater knowledge and truth for a more vibrant learning environment and development,” HCDC President Br. Noelvic H. Deloria said during the virtual program last April 11, 2022.

The said MOU encourages the exchange of faculty, students, academic information and materials in the belief that such exchanges will improve the research and educational processes at both Higher Education Institutions (HEIs).

This also opens HCDC’s doors for collaborative research, cultural exchanges and enhancement of perspective and mindset.

The Chancellor of UHH, Dr. Bonnie Irwin said HCDC imbibes the exact same spirit their university prides itself in, the embedding of education in the natural environment as well as in solidifying contact with nearby local communities.

The MOU, signed by HCDC President Bro. Noelvic H. Deloria, SC and Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Teresa P. Fabiania together with UHH Chancellor Dr. Bonnie Irwin and English Department Chair Dr. Kirsten Mallegaard was spearheaded by UHH TESL Coordinator Dr. Francis Dumanig and HCDC Head of Center for Linkages, Internationalization, and Language Studies Ms. Sheryl Urdaneta.
