One of the leading schools in California, USA, Shasta College, and Davao’s prime mover of quality Catholic education, Holy Cross of Davao College, have joined hands in bringing new opportunities for students and professionals through a partnership.
HCDC once again went beyond its borders in terms of providing high quality education and exploring more opportunities as a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed together with the Shasta College last August 15, 2022 through online.
The virtual signing ceremony was led by HCDC President Br. Noelvic H. Deloria, S.C. and Shasta College President Dr. Joe Wyse.
“I am indeed very grateful for this great opportunity. Beginning a partnership with Shasta College, I know that this is a very important time for us because as we now begin the new academic year here in the Philippines, we have mentioned and we have declared that this year will be a trailblazing year and this signing of Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) will be a very good start for this academic year,” Br. Deloria said during his opening remarks.
Meanwhile, Shasta College President Dr. Joe Wyse also expressed his gratitude and excitement towards this groundbreaking partnership.
“I believe that the implementation of this MOU over the coming years will help contribute to our goal of helping all our students achieve that learning outcome,” Dr. Wyse stressed.
The signing of the MOU was attended by HCDC Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Teresa P. Fabiania, and was witnessed through Zoom by Shasta College Vice President for Administrative Affairs, Dr. Jill Ault, and her colleagues Dr. Timothy Johnston and Dr. John Yu.
Both institutions expressed their excitement and merriment for the upcoming projects and engagements which will benefit the students and educators in the future. (Christine Necesario)
