The Holy Cross of Davao College (HCDC) signed an agreement with the Assumption College of Nabunturan (ACN) on December 12, 2022 at the HCDC President’s Boardroom as part of the institution’s ongoing efforts to expand academic partnerships.

The agreement aims to expand the Congregation of the Daughters of Mary of the Assumption’s mission by allowing for a continuous exchange of activities based on each institution’s respective academic and educational goals.

“So we will share our sources, we will work together so that we can serve others, so this is to begin the beautiful relationship with Holy Cross and Assumption College,” Dr. Teresa P. Fabiana expressed her gratitude to the partner school.

Both institutions also agreed to a ‘book project,’ in which they will conduct historical research and publish a book on the History of the Daughters of Mary of the Assumption in Davao Region through the HCDC’s Institute of Davao Studies (IDS).

“This time is really time for collaboration. There’s good gifts we found in Assumption College and there are also gifts that we can share. This is a very fortunate time that this MOA signing happens” Dr. Fabiana added.

Meanwhile, HCDC President Br. Noelvic H. Deloria expressed his support for the partnership as well as the preservation of local history and culture.

“HCDC is at the point of continuous linkages here and abroad and I see a lot of potential if we come together in helping one another,” Deloria said.
