The Holy Cross of Davao College took significant strides in expanding its international collaborations with a visit to Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) last January 17, 2025. The delegation, led by HCDC President Br. Noelvic H. Deloria, S.C., included Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Teresa P. Fabiania, Head of the HCDC Center for Linkages, Internationalization & Language Studies (Link-In & LS) and Concurrent Head of the Institute of ASEAN-European Studies Ms. Sheryl J. Urdaneta, and ICT Head Mr. Gernante O. Polestico.
The HCDC delegation was welcomed by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mohd Fais Mansor, Deputy Director of the International Relations Office (UKM Global), and Ms. Phoon Li Juan Roovasini, Senior Assistant Registrar and Head of Partnerships and Cooperation Division at the International Relations Office (UKM Global).
The visit centered on discussions about potential academic partnerships and collaborative opportunities between HCDC and UKM particularly in areas such as academic exchanges, research collaborations, and initiatives that align with ASEAN integration and global educational standards.
Their visit concluded with a meeting with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Abdul Latiff Ahmad, a faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities at UKM.
The activity reflects HCDC’s commitment to expanding academic horizons and enhancing opportunities for its students and faculty.
