Ms. Sheryl J. Urdaneta, Head of Center for Linkages, Internationalization, and Language Studies, and Institute of ASEAN European Studies and the coordinator of Erasmus+ of Holy Cross of Davao College (HCDC), had the privilege of visiting the esteemed Van Hall Larenstein (VHL) University of Applied Sciences in Velp, the Netherlands. Her purpose was to explore potential areas of collaboration with Dr. Karen Tuason, a distinguished professor at VHL, to enhance the academic offerings, particularly in the Business and other programs at HCDC.
The meeting between Ms. Urdaneta and Dr. Tuason was marked by a productive and optimistic atmosphere. Both parties shared insights and ideas, discussing ways to forge a mutually beneficial partnership that would enrich the educational experience for students at both institutions.
The discussions concluded on a positive note, symbolized by a firm and promising handshake. To further deepen their understanding of VHL’s innovative practices, Ms. Urdaneta was also given a comprehensive tour of the university’s remarkable facilities and grounds. It is noteworthy that VHL has been recognized as the most sustainable higher education institution in the Netherlands, showcasing its commitment to environmental stewardship and forward-thinking education.
