Through the years, the Holy Cross of Davao College has been consistent in producing competent professionals in different fields. One of these is Dr. Elmer B. Fos, an Assistant Professor at D’Youville University, New York, and an alumnus of HCDC, who recently visited the campus with his college batchmates last September 26, 2022.

Dr. Fos received his business and accounting degree, where he was given the opportunity to serve as a working scholar to fund his study.

He holds a Virginia Certified Public Accountant license, and his previous professional accounting experience includes working as an internal auditor and management accountant for Jardine Davies, Inc., an affiliate of Jardine Matheson, a multinational corporation that provides insurance, transportation, trading, and manufacturing services throughout the Asia Pacific region.

Dr. Fos’ visit not only marked the beginning of a new collaboration but also provided him with the opportunity to reflect on the good old days and pray for his alma mater to rise and soar higher.

09.26.22, A happy visit at HCDC with Dr. Elmer Fos and his wife. Elmer is a former work scholar, became an HCDC college faculty member, and is currently a professor both in college and graduate programs at D’Youville University in New York… Alumni reminiscing about the good old times and praying for the Alma Mater to soar higher…Thank you for the smiles and warm welcome,” Felina Olimba-Sapero, a former College Registrar of HCDC, captioned on Facebook.
