With its commitment to offer quality education to the less fortunate students through various scholarship programs, the Holy Cross of Davao College (HCDC) has been recognized with two awards by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Region XI for its “urgency for consistently being the first to submit validation of their Tulong Dunong Program (TDP) grantees” and for “being most responsive in accomplishing StuFAPS requirements.”

Scholarships & Admissions Coordinator Lory T. Alcazar expressed her delight at receiving the honors at the Grand Regal Hotel in Davao City on December 19, 2022.

“I was very happy, and honored at the same time, for the office, for the school, kay at least our efforts were recognized (I was very happy, and honored at the same time, for the office, for the school, because at least our efforts were recognized),” Alcazar said.

She stated that the award was a testament to teamwork, cooperation, and real service to students, and “the full support of the administration motivated them to do their best.”

“We will continue the work that we have started and we will do more para ma-maintain and ma-surpass namo amoang performance last school year (We will continue the work that we have started and we will do more to maintain and to surpass our performance last school year),” Alcazar said.

Currently, according to Alcazar, the school has around two to three thousand scholarship grantees from HCDC, private and government institutions.

HCDC assured that it will create more scholarship opportunities that will help students develop their skills and talents, and achieve their dreams.
