Out of the 1,553 tertiary schools that offer teacher education program in the Philippines, the Holy Cross of Davao College’s School for Teacher Education (STE) program is among the 120 tertiary schools in the country awarded by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED)’s EQUATE award.
The award is a recognition of HCDC’s “consistent upholding of the highest standard in ensuring the quality of pre-service teacher education programs, following the CHED minimum standards, program accreditation, and excellent performance in the Board of Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (BLEPT).”
HCDC President Br. Noelvic H. Deloria, S.C. and STE Program Chairperson Engr. Lolito G. Estrera, PhD, received the award earlier today April 2, at the Manila Hotel, Ermita, Manila.
