The Brothers of the Sacred Heart has expressed their support to Holy Cross of Davao College in providing quality education after their visit to Davao City on November 15, 2022 as part of their campaign on nurturing the quality of education to partner-institutions.
The congregation was represented by Executive Director of Schools Mr. John Delvin, S.C. and US Provincial Br. Ronald Hingle, S.C.
The SC Brothers were welcomed by HCDC President Br. Noelvic H. Deloria, S.C., Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Teresa P. Fabiana, Vice President for Operations Rommel F. Momo, Center for Linkages, Internationalization, and Language Studies (Link-In & LS) Head Sheryl J. Urdaneta, program chairs, faculty and staff.
Link-In & LS Head Sheryl J. Urdaneta said the main goal of the visit of the SC Brothers was to further their academic affiliations with HCDC.
“We have a deep and long-standing relationship with the Brothers of the Sacred Heart,” Urdaneta said while expressing her gratitude during their forum at the Cross Theater.
Urdaneta also expressed her excitement for Holy Crossians’ possible opportunities in connecting with other students outside HCDC under the leadership of the SC Brothers.
“With open arms, we welcome such offers coming from the group,” she emphasized.
Among the topics discussed in the forum were research development for the faculty, mental health and LGBTQIA+ concerns, student counseling, and students’ internship program.
HCDC is set to bolster yet another linkages with other institutions and organizations for the continued development of its students and employees.
