Our PASSION…for Truth!

crucifixion-worship-jesus-crossThere is a part of [us] that is likely to hold on to the real truth, and will not compromise. If [we] are swayed by personal interests to alter [our] convictions, [we] may gain in the short term, but the agony of a guilty conscience in the long term is not worth it. Looking out for one’s interest is not at all reprehensible. What is not acceptable is to advocate something as being true and good when it is really self-serving and may not be true and good at all. Personal gain not only affects our judgment, but can do so in a way that makes us unable to recognize that we are acting in self-interest rather than in the interest of truth and justice.
