Kindergarten General Goals and Objectives

  1. To provide developmentally appropriate programs that will help the child in his/her personal development and relations with others and with God;
  2. To maximize the child’s fullest potential through a variety of meaningful learning experiences and opportunities with consideration of the child’s interests and capabilities;
  3. To create and maintain a safe and healthy setting that fosters the child’s social, emotional, intellectual, moral/spiritual and physical development and that respects the child’s dignity and contribution;
  4. To encourage the child to be self-reliant and to be thinking individual, capable of making decisions and of responding to the changing time;
  5. To foster the child’s independence and a positive attitude towards learning; and
  6. To develop a concern for the environment, the community, the society, the future, and the welfare of others.
