HCDC-TFASP: DEFINED>>>

The Holy Cross of Davao College - Trust Fund for Alumni Scholarship Program (HCDC-TFASP) is a school-initiated project which aims mainly to bring the alumni together for a common cause: generation of resources for the scholarship of an increasing number of less fortunate students.

Through this project, the school dynamically etablishes and constantly strengthens its link with all the Holy Crossians across the globe as well as it unceasingly fosters a sense of belongingness among themselves.

It further offers them the opportunity to realize and to perpetuate the commitment to the mission as true Holy Crossians - to serve others especially the less fortunate.

Upon the realization of this program, the school will be able to expand the scope of its scholarship offerings, ever truer to its mission as a Filipino, Catholic, Archdiocesan, educational institution.

SCHOLAR: IDENTIFIED>>>

The HCDC-TFASP is open to any incoming first year student, including a child of an HCDC alumnus or alumna, provided the he or she meets the following criteria:

• Financially in need to pursue a college degree ( considering a combined annual family income not more than PHP 120,000.00)
• A graduate of a recognized high school,
• Has a GPA of at least 80% as reflected in the high school report card,
• Passes the school's qualifying scholarship exam and
• Meets the academic requirements of the chosen degree program until he or she graduates as specified in the prospectus.

SCHOLARSHIP COVERAGE>>>

The scholarship covers only the following:

• Free tuition and
• Free regular and other school fees.

Books, stipend and uniform allowances are excluded.

HCDC-TFASP IN-CHARGE>>>

The College Guidance Coordinator, in coordination with the Treasurer, will manage the HCDC-TFASP.

DONOR: PRIVILEGED>>>

The HCDC-TFASP donor receives a receipt of payment and a certificate of donation. Moreover, he or she is entitled to a free subcription of the annual Alumni Newsletter.

AMOUNT: PLEDGED>>>

There is no minimum or maximum amount set for an HCDC-TFASP donor to pledge.

However, when an alumnus, alumna and/or alumni batch sends an amount equivalent to a trust fund for one (1) scholar, the scholarship is named after him, her, and/or the batch.

Upon the receipt of donation, the HCDC-TFASP donor is informed regularly regarding the status of the fund and the inflation rate for necessary financial adjustments while the scholarship is being enjoyed.

SCHOLAR: REMINDED>>>

The HCDC-TFASP scholar is to submit his or her grades at the end of each academic semester and/or summer to the College Guidance Coordinator for monitoring. Also, he or she is to assist during alumni activities.
