Birthing
and Coming Home |
Time has come. An expectant mother
has been in labor, in pain: hoping that every body with whom
she has linked with could ease the inconvenience she undergoes.
She has been waiting for a long time nurturing this baby in
her womb. Her experiences are ripe. She has to reach this point,
She has to deliver her first born so that new life may have
a chance.
And a loud cry has broken the
silence of the night. The cry of a baby long expected to arrive.
Behold, the child that embodies her aspiration! So fragile.
So supple. Yet, so full of hope! |

This
has been the exhilarating experience of the officers of the
Holy Cross of Davao College Alumni Association. Holy Cross of
Davao College has been in existence for the part 53 years. However,
this is the first time that the alumni association has comeup
with a newsletter that will become the vehicle to showcase the
developments and acheivements of the peple who submitted themselves
to HCDC's pedagogy. And so, after painstaking pooling people
and resources together, at last a dream has come to life.
The school is strategically located at the
heart of the city. Like a healthy heart, it has continued to
supply 'new blood' to different sectors of society. Fifty three
long years of hopeful waiting for our alma mater to attain the
first fruits of her labor that she has proudly contributed to
the growth of Davao City and its nearby provinces, Today, these
areas are amazingly beating with life!
