To fare well with the standards of quality education, the Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs (VPAA) through the Academic Quality Assurance Office (AQAO) in coordination with Deans and Program Heads has taken significant preparations for the upcoming Philippine Accrediting Association of Schools, Colleges and Universities (PAASCU) Consultancy Visit early next year.

The consultancy visit is the second step in the formal process for the following programs applying for accreditation status: Accountancy and Accounting Technology, Computer Engineering and Electronics Communications Engineering, Information Technology, Criminology, Hotel and Restaurant Management and Social Work. All programs have undergone self-study survey and are determined to proceed to the next level.

Vice President for Academic Affairs Fr. Russel Bantiles said that all necessary documents, reports and materials relevant to the visit as exhibits have already been organized and are displayed in the Accreditation Room awaiting for the actual visit by January 2018.

“All other offices are fully supporting and cooperating with the Office of the VPAA to make the consultancy visit successful in order to achieve the institution’s goal to offer higher quality of Catholic education”, Fr. Bantiles stressed.

Meanwhile, the Liberal Arts, Education and Business programs are currently under level 3 PAASCU accreditation status. (Angel Missy Roble, MassComm Intern)
