HCDC alumnus wins best short film

Holy Cross of Davao College (HCDC) has again taken pride in the achievement of its alumnus, Jarell Serencio who won in the recently conducted Cinemalaya Film Festival 2012.

“I want to inspire people and to evoke ones emotion through my films.” Serencio, who is currently abroad, said in a chat interview.

BSSW forges partnership with Barangay Cabantian 

Living with a commitment to serve, the BS Social Work Program (BSSW) of HCDC school year 2012 -2013 established partnership with Barangay Cabantian through the locality’s barangay council headed by Nilo Cabiles.

In a courtesy call and an official visit with the barangay officials, the partnership was conceived in July 2012 of the first semester and was further renewed in November for the second semester, making barangay Cabantian as an official placement community of the BSSW Field Instruction (FI) specifically the subject “Social Work Practice with Groups and with Communities.” Read More>>>

Environmental Com class links with DENR –XI
